Biography

Marilyn L. Marles
Marilyn L. Marles is founder and president of Marles Group, a management and organization consulting firm with an emphasis on improving organization effectiveness. She brings more than twenty years of Human Resources experience working with business, government, and nonprofit organizations, including training, team building, meeting facilitation, organization development, performance management, staffing, and job analysis, design and evaluation. She began consulting in 1991 with the mission to enhance organization performance and staff morale through effective change leadership.
Her last corporate employment was with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. where she served most recently as Manager of Performance Management and Career Development. Prior positions included Performance and Training Manager, Critical Skills Development and New Technologies Manager, and Training Associate.
She is a skilled facilitator with strong practical and theoretical background in group dynamics, group process and organization behavior. Ms. Marles is qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. She has experience with a variety of self-assessments and multi-rater feedback instruments, and has expertise in facilitating indoor and outdoor experiential training activities to promote learning.
She has been an affiliate with several consulting firms: Zigon Performance Group, where she is Senior Consultant in performance management, Farr-Healey Consulting, and Genesis Consulting. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Moravian College and Muhlenberg College.
Ms. Marles completed the Master of Science in Human Resource Development at The American University in Washington, D.C. She earned the Certificate of Achievement in Organization Development from the NTL Institute. In addition, she completed Executive Education courses in Performance Management and Organizational Career Development at the University of Michigan, and the Darryl Sink Instructional Design Workshop. She received her Bachelor's degree in Social Science and Russian Studies from Muhlenberg College.
